French Immersion Information Nights

Foothills School Division invites all prospective parents of the High River, Okotoks, and surrounding areas to the annual French Immersion Information Night. This year, the sessions will be held in both High River and Okotoks for programs across the division:

January 23, 2023  6:30 to 7:30 pm
Open to all High River & Area Families

École Percy Pegler School
January 24, 2023 6:30 to 7:30 pm 
Open to all Okotoks & Area Families
69 Okotoks Drive, Okotoks

Presentations will be held in the gymnasium of each school, along with school tours, refreshments, and information on our inclusive French Immersion programming. 

In addition to providing students with the opportunity to achieve proficiency in both of Canada’s official languages, English and French, our French Immersion program nurtures the cultural, social, intellectual, and emotional development of each learner.

Learners become proficient in French by using it to study other school subject areas from Kindergarten through to Grade 12. The program is currently offered at the following schools: École Percy Pegler, École Okotoks Junior High School, École Secondaire Foothills Composite High School, École Joe Clark School, École Senator Riley Middle School, École Secondaire Highwood High School.
