Theresa Letendre has served on the Foothills School Division Board of Trustees since 2017. Throughout her tenure, she has witnessed the immense value of locally elected school boards—how strong, informed leadership can shape learning, foster well-being, and strengthen communities.

Now in her third term as trustee and once again serving as Board Chair, Theresa remains a steadfast champion for public education. She approaches her work with curiosity and care, continually seeking to learn, listen, and lead in ways that reflect the shared values and priorities of the Foothills community. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that education has the power to create opportunity and belonging for every learner.

Theresa lives in the Priddis area with her husband and their two children, who attend Foothills School Division schools. She is a proud parent who actively supports her children in their athletic, artistic, and academic pursuits. On quieter days, she enjoys bird watching, sky gazing, and appreciating the beauty of the place she calls home.
