Lisa Penzo was elected to the Foothills School Division Board of Trustees in 2021 and brings to her role a deep background in not-for-profit leadership, youth development, and recreation. Through her work with children, families, and community organizations, she has seen firsthand how collaboration, inclusion, and care create environments where young people can truly thrive.
As trustee for Ward 4, Lisa is a strong advocate for equitable access to education, student mental health and wellness, and decisions that keep learners at the heart of every conversation. Lisa approaches her work with curiosity and compassion, believing that strong relationships and shared purpose are the foundation of flourishing school communities.
A proud parent of two Foothills School Division graduates, she lives in Okotoks, and enjoys reading, volunteering, and exploring the outdoors and the world around her with family and friends.
