Summer School is also ideal for students who want to:
- take a course that doesn’t fit in their timetables during the school year
- understand high school learning and expectations
- take Math 15 to prepare for math 10C
- do not prefer the traditional physical education setting
- have a flexible learning schedule to accommodate athletics, arts, or travel commitments

How Summer School works
| Summer school is fully online |
| Course work happens in the mornings using our Moodle Learning Platform and individual/small group sessions are in the afternoons |
| In-person drop-in sessions are offered at the Foothills Composite High School in Okotoks for local students |
| Classes are daily – Monday to Friday |
| Between class time and independent course work, students will work 5 hours a day |
Setting up students for success
Students will require:
A reliable internet connection.
A computer capable of accessing the internet (laptop or desktop)
A web camera and microphone (your computer may already have this built-in)
A quiet space to work
