Student Awards and Recognition
Westmount School recognition program provides opportunities for students to be recognized for attaining various levels of excellence. We believe that positive recognition is a powerful tool for building character, encouraging a quest for excellence, and improving self-esteem and confidence.

Leaders of the Pack | Each year, one student will be selected from grade 7, 8, and 9 classes for outstanding leadership, the contributions they have made to Westmount School and for living our WMS Core Values.

Athlete of the Year | Each year, 2 athletes from Gr 7, 8 and 9 classes will apply for the Athlete of the Year award. Athletes must have played on at least two school teams, displayed sportsmanship and etiquette on and off the field/court, must be in sound academic standing, have good classroom attendance, at games and practices, display positive leadership and living the WMS Core Values. | 7-9
