Transportation Notice (November 18)

The following message was sent to the families of our bus riders on the afternoon of November 18, 2024

We have been closely monitoring weather and road conditions to best provide our transportation services in a safe and efficient manner. Based on reports, we have made the following decisions regarding bus services.

Our in-town service routes will be running, with possible delays. Some bus stops may be modified for student safety. If this impacts your child’s bus stop, you will receive communication directly from the bus driver regarding the alternate location.

Additionally, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to cancel several routes that pose a safety risk due to conditions.  You will also receive communication directly from the bus driver regarding and routes that have been cancelled.   You can also visit our website and check on your child’s route status.   

Students effected by any route cancellations will need to be picked up from school by an authorized person at the end of the school day.  

We understand that this news poses an inconvenience for you and your family. Please know that this decision to cancel routes is to maintain the safety of our students and staff. Should you experience significant delays to pick up your child, or need to authorize your child to be picked up by another family, please contact your child’s school.

We thank you for your partnership to uphold student and staff safety. For tomorrow’s bussing, please anticipate bus route updates at our website starting at 6:00am.
