Athletics Central

Athletics Central

First and foremost, we would like to give a tremendous thank you to all our coaches for the 2023/2024 athletic season!  We couldn’t have done it without your time, effort, and support and are grateful for your commitment to our athletes and our school!

As we wrap up Athletics for this school year, we begin to look ahead for the upcoming school year.  We plan to offer a variety of teams but are dependent on staff volunteering, community coach availability, number of students willing to play, and seasons of play offered by the Foothills Athletic Council. We have been very fortunate to be supported by community coaches for many of our athletic teams and are looking for coaches for the upcoming school year.
If you are willing to support our school teams for next year, please identify the sport and grade level you would be interested in leading or supporting and email cederstrands@fsd38.ab.ca prior to June 21st, 2024.

Coaches are required to submit a Criminal Record Check, Respect in Sport program completion certificate, and the Volunteer Forms from FSD.  All forms and training must be completed and provided to the office prior to each season.  If you feel you may be a coach next year, and may have not taken the Respect in Sport certification within the last 3 years, please consider completing over the summer.

Our school is guided by the Foothills Athletic Council to support the following athletic events and seasons for our students.
