June 17, 2024 Weekly Update
Cayley Families,
As we draw close to the end of the year, allow me to update you on a few school happenings:
On Tuesday June 18th, we will have a half-day school sports day as a year-end celebration. Thank you very much to our school council who has agreed to feed everyone a hamburger lunch in support of this event- we are most appreciative of your generosity! The event will happen from 11:00 am-2:00 pm, with lunch occurring between 12:00-1:00 pm depending on which grade your child is in!
On Thursday June 27th, the final day of school, we will host both a talent show as well as an awards ceremony. The morning will be spent in classrooms, and then the award ceremony will occur from 1:00-1:45 pm. For those wishing to stay for the talent show, it will occur from 2:00-2:45 pm. Dismissal for the year will occur at 2:45 pm.
If your child is not returning to Cayley School next year and you have not let the office know, please do so before the end of the year
Our current plan for homerooms next year is as follows (subject to change):
Kindergarten/grade 1 (approximately 14 students)- Ms. Laliberte
Grade 2-3 (approximately 18 students)- Ms. Patterson
Grade 4 (approximately 20 students)- Mr. Fagervik
Grade 5-6 (approximately 24 students)- Mrs. Blake
Grade 7-8 (approximately 26 students)- Ms. Hutchinson/Mr. Hayden

Friday June 21st- PD Day, No School
Tuesday June 25th- Grade 8 Farewell, 6:00-7:30 pm
Thursday June 27th- Last Day of School; Awards Ceremony 1:00-1:45 pm, Talent Show 2:00-2:45 pm, Dismissal at 2:45 pm
