June 24, 2024 Weekly Update
Cayley Families,
As we draw close to the end of the year, allow me to update you on a few school-wide happenings:
On Thursday June 27th, the final day of school, we will host both a talent show as well as an awards ceremony. The morning will be spent in classrooms, and then the award ceremony will occur from 1:00-1:45 pm. For those wishing to stay for the talent show, it will occur from 2:00-2:45 pm. Dismissal for the year will occur at 2:45 pm.
Please have a look at the lost and found table when you come in on Thursday as we want to get items back to families before Summer!
Learner profiles will be sent to families on Thursday June 27th as well
Finally, we have a few staffing announcements to make: we will be welcoming the following support staff back to Cayley next year: Brigid Perras (Educational Assistant), Kristy Smith (Educational Assistant), Shelley Lee (Educational Assistant) and Aimee Stelter (Learning Commons Facilitator). Congratulations to these ladies; each has done an outstanding job for our students and we are pleased to welcome them back!

Tuesday June 25th- Grade 8 Farewell, 6:00-7:30 pm

Friday August 30- Transition Day for 2024/25 school year
Tuesday September 3- First Day of School for all students
