Westmount Bookfair - Bookfair begins tomorrow Wednesday, October 28th and runs until Tuesday, November 3rd! Students can shop during library class, at recess or after school with family! Bookfair is open after school from 3:15-4:00 P.M. Late night shopping is Thursday, October 29th from 3:15-7:00 P.M. Thank you for supporting our school and bookfair!
Remembrance Day Assembly - Any student who is in Sparks, Cadets, Brownies, Guides etc. are encouraged to wear their uniform for our Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday, November 6th from 10:45 – 11:30. We ask that students dress up for the event. We should have poppies available at the main office for students with a donation. Thank you!
Basketball Coaches Needed! - Westmount needs some parent volunteers who would like to coach basketball. If you can help provide an opportunity to our students in Jr. High, can you please reach out to Mr. Jones or Mrs. Watkins for more information. Basketball season will be starting up shortly and we would like to have coaches in place ready to go.
Every Friday is Junior High Hot Dog Day!
Parent Council sells hotdogs for $2, Chips for $1 and Juice box for $1 every Friday for Grades 7-9 during lunch!
Drop off and Parking – Please be aware of dropping off students in front of our school. The bus zone is only for school division busses. Please do not stop or park on the main road in front of our driveways. We have a loop for you to drop off students and then we kindly ask that you vacate the area for other families dropping off their students. Thank you for your cooperation to keep our children, and adult drivers, safe.
Hot Lunch Helpers Needed
Please email Mrs. Gwilliam at gwilliaml@fsd38.ab.ca if you can help sort hot lunch into class bins and distribute.
Lost and Found- if an item has a name in it, we return it to the student; please claim items from the lost and found – all items will be donated November 5.
