Canadian Parents for French Alberta & NWT is excited to invite your students and their families to our 4th annual Camping en français event — a fun-filled French-language camping weekend designed to promote and celebrate bilingualism!

Dates: August 7–10, 2026

This immersive weekend is a fantastic opportunity for French-second-language learners and their families to connect, play, and practice French in a relaxed and supportive environment. Activities include:

·        French programming and activities for youth;

·        Outdoor adventures;

·        Catered group meal & family-friendly entertainment;

·        Community campfires, and more!

Whether your school supports French Immersion, Core French, or Francophone programming, Camping en français is an excellent way to keep the language alive over the summer and build lifelong bilingual memories and friendships.
