Cayley Families,
I’d like to start out by thanking those that attended last week’s “Meet the Teacher” night, and hope that everyone enjoyed seeing each other and having the opportunity to tour your child’s classroom! Despite the poor weather, we had a great turnout!
Upcoming Important Dates :
Monday September 16- Flag Football Game at Meadow Ridge School (Okotoks), 3:50-4:50 pm
Friday September 20- Terry Fox Run, 1:00-2:30 pm
Monday September 23- Flag Football Game at Senator Riley School (High River), 3:40-4:50 pm
Thursday September 26- School Council Meeting, 3:30 pm at Cayley School Library
Friday September 27- PD Day, No School

Terry Fox Run- Families that wish to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation in support of cancer research can do so at the following link: https://schools.terryfox.ca/Cayley
We are challenging everyone to donate a toonie for Terry! We will start our afternoon on Friday with a short assembly in the gym, and will then make our way out for our walk/run through the community- parents are more than welcome to join us!
School Council- The first school council meeting of the year will occur on Thursday September 26th in the school library at 3:30 pm (note the new time). I would encourage anyone wanted to stay informed of school happenings to attend, as it is an opportunity to have your voice heard around the direction of the school. Additionally, this will serve as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the school council, so a new executive will be elected).
